Oh no! I haven’t written anything in 2 1/2 months. I feel bad about this but I have been doing a lot of research and I hope that it’ll pay off in the end. Last month, I went to the Poconos for a truly well deserved small vacation.
This is a view of the lake where I was fishing. I love to fish – I had so much fun!
Can you believe that I found a heart-shaped tree stump?

Why are these guys canoeing when they should be fishing???
There were only 3 different kinds of fish at the lake. On the left is a rainbow trout and on the right is a catfish. Too bad most of the fish were too small but it was still a lot of fun to catch them!
This is a perch. There were a lot of them swimming pretty close to the dock. Please don’t be fooled by my pictures – they were REALLY small! I kept having to throw them back. After a while (as in on my final day of fishing) I realized I wasn’t fishing… I was just feeding them.
On the highway, I saw a farm with horses!
More horses grazing.
At a farmer’s market, they were selling baby venus fly traps and they had spiders as food! nom nom!
At a different farmer’s market, they were selling these plants in construction boots. Pretty cool.
I saw this unexpected rainbow! Completely out of the blue. Yeah it’s just a sliver but all the colors were there!

Maybe because the Poconos is at a higher altitude that’s why I was able to see a rainbow when it didn’t even rain at all.
The light at sunset is lovely. Can you find a heart in this image?

Okay this is not the most picturesque picture of sunset but the color is awesome and intense!
On my last day, I was finally able to take a picture of this helicoptor swing! Too bad there weren’t any kids playing on it this time – it would’ve been great. This was definitely unique. Something I haven’t seen before.
This is the Niagara Falls of the Poconos. Umm it didn’t quite live up to the real thing. This was the only bad experience that I had. Good thing it didn’t effect the extremely good mood I had throughout my stay.
