I love this look of anticipation!

It doesn’t have the best image quality but it does have the romantic mood factor!

These guys are waaaaay  too cool!

There are some images I like that don’t blend into the storyline of my portfolio gallery. I like showing a complete story where things flow together. So unfortunately that means some images don’t get to be a part of it but luckily I don’t mind showing them here for everyone to see! These are outtakes from Jun Li’s and Wei’s wedding that took place in June.

Here’s Jun Li getting ready as her friends relax and joke around.

Finally Jun Li gets a chance to relax a lil bit before the groom and groomsmen come over.

Part of the fun in Chinese weddings are the things the guys must do to prove the groom’s worthiness and love for his bride. As in “Of course! I’ll do anything for her!!!” The bridesmaids had a list of things they must do. It started out with one guy doing a couple of pushups, then the next challenge was for all of them to do a dance performance and before Wei could see his bride, he had to answer some hard questions. Unfortunately I don’t know what they were because they spoke in Mandarin. Finally after this ordeal, Wei got to see his bride except he had to do one more challenge: to find her shoe! This was the very first place he tried to find.

Finally after a really long time (10 min) and in-between-laughing-hints from the bridesmaids, Wei finally hit the jackpot and found it!

And then on top of that, Wei also had to carry Jun Li out of the hotel. Wei tried and tried and tried to give Jun Li a piggy back ride but couldn’t because of the structure of her dress. So Wei had to hug and carry her out the bedroom and after reading congratulation notes from everybody, carry her again out of the hotel room.

Then they took the elevator down to the lobby and again Wei had to carry Jun Li out of the building.

This is simply a wide shot of the wedding. I love how happy they both are and I love how the dress looks on her! It’s from Vera Wang! She knew this was the dress for her the second time she saw it! She loved it the first time she saw it and then shopped around and then she saw it the second time and that was it!

I like the dress so much that I wanted to show a closer picture!

Jun Li looks so pretty!! This is the moment before she’s about to sign the official document to be officially married.
