I have known Kheng since college and although she is actually half Chinese half Burmese, she’s always had more pride in her Burmese culture. So I was excited to see Kheng wearing a traditional Burmese wedding dress for her City Hall ceremony and luckily they found a gold tie for John the day before. Kheng had something with gold in everything she wore, from her hair to her dress to the veil, even the flowers! Good thing it wasn’t too overwhelming. Gold was such a great color for the both of them!

A glimpse of the rings before the actual ceremony.

John seemed nervous… or was he? Nah! He was just playing it cool!

The just-about-to-be married couple waiting for their turn.

Inside the room with the officiant.

Glowing with excitement!

And in a heartbeat, they were married!

Still glowing with happiness!

Here’s John showing off his ring!

It’s so refreshing to see the bride wear a boutonniere instead of the guy! And it’s sooo pretty! Kheng looked great – so glamorous!

Kheng and John are so great! They didn’t mind sitting in front of the radiator to pose for their images.

As if there wasn’t enough gold, the Manhattan Marriage Bureau has this beigey gold mosaic wall that I thought would look good.

I love it when guys act silly and make goofy faces!

Happiness and sweetness is what they are.

I’m happy to see them start their new life together. Congratulations!

As I mentioned before in a previous post, I will just be a guest at the banquet and while I was there, I was ordered not to take a lot of pictures and just to have fun. Well I did do just that but I had to show that some of my images were used at the banquet and they were displayed in really cool picture frames. They looked great! I’m really pleased with their choices!
